Complete AV block with slow escape
MSP221 recording · 07
Clinical history not documented in this image source.
Original waveform retained; quiz cropping only removes off-tracing interpretation or a row containing an answer label. Some sources are rhythm strips rather than a full 12-lead ECG.
Look for
- No fixed P–QRS relationship.
- Slow broad QRS complexes.
Where to look. P waves proceed independently of slow broad QRS complexes. Inspect the lead-II strip.
An escape is a late backup mechanism; an ectopic premature beat occurs early. This complete-block recording illustrates a slow backup rhythm, but width alone does not establish its focus.
The source diagnosis is retained; no additional clinical cause is inferred.
